About The Artist

Inspired by Nature and Meaningful Design
Chelsey Michel is a local independent artist who creates handcrafted jewelry, home decor, and custom gifts, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature. For her, creating isn’t just a business—it’s part of her own wellness practice, a way of slowing down, finding joy in the details, and passing along a sense of calm and connection to others.
Each piece is designed with intention, whether it’s worn as a favorite pair of earrings, given as a meaningful keepsake, or placed in a new home to mark a fresh beginning.
Family, Friends, and Community at the Heart
Family and community are central to Chelsey’s life and work. She and her husband are raising six children—alongside two small dogs—in a home that’s always full of energy, creativity, and laughter. That deep appreciation for family, friendship, and connection shapes the way she creates.
Her work offers thoughtful treasures that celebrate relationships, milestones, and the beauty of shared life.
Advocacy and Mental Health Awareness
Before pursuing a career as a maker, Chelsey spent a decade serving unhoused communities in Yakima County. This work deepened her belief in compassion, resilience, and the importance of human connection.
Today, when she’s not in the studio or with her family, she continues that commitment as a speaker and instructor. Chelsey advocates for trauma-informed care and mental health awareness throughout Washington State, blending her professional background with her creative passion.
Whether through advocacy or artistry, Chelsey’s hope is the same: to foster connection, compassion, and a gentler world.
